More than 500 participants at this year’s New York Forum® engaged in intensive discussions, workshops and taskforces. Together, they helped craft potential solutions to some of the many pressing issues faced by the global economy today. The New York Forum is an initiative of the NYF Institute.

As a person who has always enjoyed meeting people who, like me, have shown a passion and dedication for Martial Arts, I have enjoyed the journey of becoming a Professional Martial Artist, Anti-Bullying Coach, Personal Trainer and most of all, Teacher.

Through study, exercise and grading, I have earned black belts in the disciplines of Dennis Survival Jiu Jitsu and Zen Do Kai. Wanting to continually learn and challenge myself, I also qualified as a Jeet Kune Do and Krav Maga instructor.

MexiBello is London’s first Mexican festival taking place in Notting Hill on 28 May 2011. Its aim is to showcase a modern Mexico that departs from the usual stereotypes associated with the country. Food will be at the heart of the event with the presence of the best of London’s Mexican restaurants recreating the bustling atmosphere of a typical urban market. The festival will feature an extensive line-up of traditional and contemporary performances ranging from ranchera to nu-cumbia, through jaranero and Mexican dubstep.
